Peggy Sanders has been an active member of the Washington State Bar since 1996.  She is a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys and the Elder Law Section of the Washington State and King County Bar Associations.  She received her law degree from Northeastern University School of Law in 1987.

A native of Maine, Peggy left private practice in Honolulu to move to Washington, D.C., to work for the Hon. George Mitchell when he was Majority Leader of the U. S. Senate.  After he retired, she fell in love with Washington State, and served state and local governments here, most recently crafting legislation for King and Snohomish Counties.

Peggy lives in Shoreline with her husband, Ralph.  They enjoy exploring Washington and Oregon in their vintage VW camper.  Their co-pilot is a little rescued dog named Winston.
